Honesty,he is honest that he is a sinner, humility and repentance are in the heart of the tax collector that the Pharasee seems to lack.

What request have you given up asking of God and what would Jesus say?

I have given up asking for the return of my second ex-wife (who divorced me) for two years when I came across of what Paul said in Philippians3:13 Forget what is behind and strain forword what is ahead. God showed me this verse, I think, is because we shouldn't be together in the first place. However, God is faithful and will lead me on Jesus' narrow path spiritually. Amen.
