If everyone has faith in this world there wouldn't be any weapons invented to kill and destroy, people would use their minds (faith) to control everything even control each others. What part of this teaching by Jesus do you find hard to accept and why?

Why does Jesus tell the growing crowd that one must be willing to renounce everything, including one`s own life, to be Jesus` follower? Because all these things are material and earthly in nature. None of these things matter in heaven and are important for our salvation.

What about this story disturbs or comforts you? It comforts me for it tells us that the only way is Jesus the way, the light and life. We have to repent our sins and follow Jesus' way then we are save.
