3961 entries for this category: for us, an example to follow i think... that outward sign of baptism (which is with water) is our way of saying to the world that we accept God's gift of salvation, and that we repent from our sins... the Holy Spirit baptism is between you and God. Like when Jesus was baptized with water, the Father spoke and said He begets Jesus... for us, its like God is saying to us that He accepts us as children through His begotten, Jesus, in front of the world... its our proclamation and God's. What would have been your response if you had seen Jesus killed and then alive again? What would cause others to respond differently? If I am a true believer I wouldn't be frightened when I see Him after His dead, instead, I will be marvelled. Some others might think they had seen ghost.

Joseph from the town of Arimathaea was a wealthy Jewish religious leader. What risk did he take and why was he willing to do this? Note: Isaiah 53:9 - "And they made His grave with the wicked, But with the rich at His death." If other Jews, Pharasees and the anti-Christ saw him doing this he would be in big trouble and he was willing to do this because he was seeking the kingdom of God as well.
