What was Jesus trying to teach the disciples? Note: Jesus left twelve baskets full when he fed the 5000 people on the Israel side (Israel had 12 main regions or tribes).

Jesus was warning the disciples against the teachings of the Pharisees, in that it could be used just as yeast in bread to grow among the population. He was trying to rely that the bread provided through the word of God is the proper bread, and like spiritual food.

Healing and multiplying food did not convice the religious leaders. What sign would have convinced you of Jesus as God?

All the healings, the mirales and the driving out of the demons off the demon-possessed parsons by Jesus already tells me Jesus is God.
