Define "Compassion"?

A deep caring for another, empathy, sympathy. A connection with that person as far as feeling how they feel and knowing what they are going through

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

I knew very little about the social structure of the region Jesus grew up in and how there was very little Jewish independence in those times. It also surprised me that not one Jewish rabbi actually listened to him and and had the thought that wow he is the messiah. I kind of understand possibly why due to the little I know of the Jewish faith it could possibly be that they may have even been a little frightend but here was a man that was fully God and fully man born of a virgin whose womb was blessed by the spirit of God himself. They must have known about the trinity.

Who Jesus Is

Jesus was God in the flesh, He was fully man and fully God. He was sent by the father and lived sinless and blameless and bore our sins on the day of his crucifixction so that eternal life would be given to those who believe in him and who he is. throughout his ministry, He walked, talked, and thought in the spirit, he spread the Good news about the kingdom of God and performed many recorded miracles. Jesus glorified his father, Our father by his every action and every word and taught his followers how to glorify the father in their actions. Which is why Jesus is a measuring tool for how we should conduct ourselves. He is a perfect example of how to live in the world and not of the world because he did,
