It is better to have the Holy Spirit with us because Jesus is gone to his heavenly Father and has left the Holy Spirit for us so that the Holy Spirit can guide us, guard us, give us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, kindness, forgiveness and be our comforter from morning till night.

In what ways is it better to have the Holy Spirit with us, than to have Jesus` physical presence on earth? The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus. If Jesus never went away to be crucified, we would have perished.WE have the Holy Spirit for guidance,and truth.He leads us all into knowledge and wisdom. He is the great Comforter to the soul.

In what ways is it better to have the Holy Spirit with us, than to have Jesus` physical presence on earth? I beleive if I recall correctly JESUS mentions to his disciples that he needs to fulfill his destiny in order for them to receive the blessings of the Holy Spirit. Without this sacrifice, I'm not sure the Holy Spirit would be available to help us towards the path of salvation.
