Jesus was crucified during the Passover feast in Jerusalem the same way that the lamb was killed and it’s blood put on the doorposts of the homes of the people living in Egypt in order to have the angel of death Passover them. It’s such an amazing thing, Christ coming down from heaven to be slaughtered like a lamb so we can “live”. It is crucial for us to put the blood of Jesus on the “doorposts” of our life.
