Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus? JESUS was touched by her faith and true act of love. She recognized JESUS as someone who was truly special and for the people of the day, an expensive jar of ointment was hard to come by, which I'm sure made the act much more pleasing to JESUS.

Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus? It was expensive ointment and Jesus knew she was doing it for him, truly from her heart, before he was put on the Cross.
