Why does Jesus keep telling the disciples that He is about to die? He was preparing them. He wanted them to know that he already knew what was going to happen.

Why is it helpful to confront a brother alone first, before involving others in confronting him? By confronting a brother alone, you may be able to save him from an uncomfortable situation. If he wants to be forgiven, it will be private but he doesn't believe he has done wrong, then by bringing in others, it may convince him that he did in fact do wrong.
