27012 entries for this category: The parables were used by JESUS because the people of the day claimed they could see, but many were blind to the teaching of JESUS. When JESUS spoke in parables for those claimed they could hear they were not able to understand, so hence they were not able to receive the WORD of GOD. For those who truly believed and followed JESUS I would suspect through the power of prayer the teachings of the parables would have been revealed to them if they asked the FATHER in JESUS' name. Why did Jesus speak to the people in parables, rather than just stating things directly?

Why did Jesus speak to the people in parables, rather than just stating things directly? Jesus spoke in parables so that people might understand because only a few chosen were given the capability of understand the Word of the Lord.

What does the darnel seed represent and how is this darnel weed sown? The darnel seed represents the evildoers and those that are against Jesus. It is the enemy that sows the darnel weed (evildoers).
