Often times, we come up short because we have hard times believing in things at face value or without any evidence or justification.  I suspect JESUS stated all of the facts so by the good deeds that were done were to give testimony that 1) these deeds were infact done 2) they were done by the one who was sent by the FATHER and 3) these deeds serve as inspiration to us all to be kind and to help those who are less fortunate or are in need.
