Jesus, rebuked the disciples for being fearful. How should they have responsed to the storm?

They should have turned to God and with their faith, asked for their safety on the waters. They should have had faith in God, even though he was not in human form as was his Son. Seeing is believing and that is why we sometimes have a hard time believing in the unknown.

Why did Jesus seem to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following Him? Didn`t He want these two to join Him?

Jesus was telling the Scribe that the people needed to be led to the Kingdom of God. The foxes and the birds had the natural instincts to survive but man needed guides to lead and teach them. The disciple was told to leave the dead and to follow, God would pass judgement of the dead and would take care of them, the disciple was needed to follow Jesus and assist in leading mankind that was alive.

Why did Jesus first forgive the paralytic`s sins, and only later heal him? What lesson was he trying to communicate?

That we need forgiveness more than physical healing. There are several lessons Jesus is teaching here. intersscory prayer meaning others had faith in Jesus so they brought the paralytic to Jesus. That Jesus has the authority to forgive sins and heal us. ( spiritually and physically) That when we believe in Jesus we bring glory to our heavenly father.
