A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly (Proverbs 14:29). Why does Jesus speak so strongly against anger? Because it is directly opposed to the foundation of his teachings and the will of the FATHER. Anger is a mechanism the evil one uses to interfere with our relationships. Especially the relationship with the FATHER and his SON.
