It brings everything front and center and exposes the light of truth. Remember, GOD wants to have an open and loving relationship with us, no matter how much sin we commit. Being able to talk to him and be open about our sinfulness is a way that we prepare for his kingdom. Why was it important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation? It was important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation because itwas the will of our heavenly Father. By his temptation we should also learn from Jesus that no matter somebody tempts you must trust God and do his will.
