27012 entries for this category: The word “angel” actually comes from the Greek word aggelos, which means “messenger.” They are diffidently not indigestion! He knew the scripture, and followed it. I believe God guided him by wisdom and faith. How did Joseph know it was a real angel appearing to him in his dreams, and not just , for example, indigestion?

Why did Jesus use the greeting. "Peace be to you"? Was there special signiificance in this greeting? He was letting them know that they were safe from the persecusion and that they feared and that even under difficult circumstances those that they forgive will be forgiven and that peace will be with them.
