When Jesus died on the cross, He died with us, our "old man".  We, our old ways were crucified with Him.  His resurrection was our resurrection.  We our new creatures living in the Spirit and not of the flesh.

At first glance, it appears that Jesus wept, when He went to raise Lazarus from the dead, because He was sad for Lazarus death.  It also looks that Jesus wept in acknowledgement of Mary's and Martha's sorrow.  However, Jesus never wept when He brought others back to life, if I remember correctly, and in fact, He told the family of the dead not to cry for their loved ones were not dead.  Also, I don't think Jesus wept over the death of Lazarus because He knew that Lazarus would be resurrected. Did Jesus cry because He had more love for this trio over the others that He raised from the dead, and their families?  No, He loves us all.  So what I come away with is that Jesus was expressing in tears His feeling about what was to happen with Him, at the crucifixion.  Jesus would greatly suffer from the gruesome affliction of violence upon Him, but the greatest horror that led Jesus to weep was that while suffering on the cross for our sins, the horror of being separated from the Father was unimaginable.  Jesus wept.

What sort of place do you think Jesus is preparing for you?
Jesus is preparing a place for all His followers...a place where all good exists...far beyond our imagination.

With great hope, it would be my honor if JESUS would even consider preparing a place for me and if he did I suspect it would be beyond imagine/comprehension.
