Why did Jesus wash the disciples` feet when Judas was present, rather than watiing until that betrayer had left? Jesus washed all the disciples' feet, including Judas, because he wanted them to know that we are all alike as children of God. However, he knew that the betrayer was present and stated that even though he had washed their feet, not all were clean...referring to Judas.
