Why did Jesus use the greeting. "Peace be to you"? Was there special signiificance in this greeting? Jesus was soon going to be sittet at the right hand of God the Father. So when he was with the disciples Jesus said to them Peace be with you because he saw the fear of Jews in them and told them that the Holy Spirit will always be with them to guide and protect them.

Why do you think Jesus chose, after he rose, to show Himself first to Mary Magdalene? 'Cause she was distraught ... & had not run off ... also I read that women were down the botttom of the 'food chain personage wise' & we all know from scripture Jesus liked to deal with folks who 'were not all bout praisin themselves' ...
