What do you learn about Jesus, asking one of the most disliked men in town to become his follower?

Levi knew Jesus and also knew of His miracles and purpose on earth so by his jod as a tax collector he was hesitant to go in the way of Jesus until He asked him to follow,Levi left and went willingly forhe knew the way of Jesus is right; and Jesus said to others tax collectors scribes and pharisees, ( I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
