170 entries for this category: As a child growing up and as an adult now, I sometimes have expectations of Jesus, but he has not promised anything but joy, peace, fulfillment. As a human I expect Jesus to help me in all my situations, because he never fails us nor forsakes us. I pray for God to help me in so many situations that I am facing, sometimes I am become disappointed, but things turn out to be okay, then I realise that God has a plan, and if we wait on him, keep trusting and doing his work, he will guide us through any situation when the time is right. He has preformed so many miracles in my life, I keep falling in Love with him over and over again, he gets sweeter and sweeter as the day goes by. Thank you Lord for delivering me and being at my side all the time, if it wasn't for you Lord I would not be here, he has promised never to forsake us and that is so true. Thank you Lord. Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking people`s money (robber`s den). Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condemn with words? The people were making the focus of the Temple a business one and robbing the people as they purchased animals for sacrifice. The nobility of the sacrifice and realtionship with God was lost in the religiousness of the actions of the people. this angered Jesus seeing the love of God pedelled for money.

The common people are praising Jesus, expecting him to become Israel`s next king. Jesus knew they would turn against him a few days later when he disappointed their expectation. Do you have expections of Jesus which he did not promise?

Do you have expections of Jesus which he did not promise? Jesus's timing and lack of revelation can be quite a bit to deal with. I guess more people will say taht if they had more direct revelation of the Lord they will be more apt to serve. We have nbeen socialised to work with the timing of the world which does not go with God's timing and hense the current painful processes.
