Jesus was sinless and he endured death on the cross so that we can be free by the his blood. he predicted his death, and endured ''was strengthened in the garden of gethsamanie'' and he obeyed the will of God.
No man took his life but he gave it up willingly and was dead, he was raised three days later as he had earlier proclaimed. Our Victory in in the victory of Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?) Jesus knew his fate, so he kept on doing God`s work. He knew he had to do this because of the sins which we committ daily, he had to save us by dying on the cross. He was tortured for us, because of the way we live our lives without love. He did all these things so that we might repent and be saved and accept him as our personal friend and saviour. Thank you Lord for all you have done and is still doing for us.
