He demonstrated his love by dying on the Cross for our sins so that we could have eternal life. He spread the Good News to the poor, he healed the sick, give sight to blind, he saved us from our sins by dying.
He sacrified all these things for us.

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment? Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him by our love to serve and help each other. Doing the father`s will looking out for others.
God said If you love me, you will do my will, and by your works others will know that you serve me sincerely in spirit and in truth. Blessed be his name.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss? I would discuss how I can serve him better and do the things the Father ask. I will also ask him to help me by cleansing me from all my sins and teaching me to be more like him with patience, love and trust.
