All things are made for his pleasure alone...however this lesson points to something we can actually give to GOD as a response to his love for us. God requires our obedience and trust. If we can give God his glory for HIS creation we are beginning to understand God and our place in this world.

Why was Zaccheaus so joyful when Jesus asked to stay at his house? Zaccheaus, I beleive was sure of his sinful nature and thus was not in a self righteous position. Being aware of his condition, he rejoiced that the LORD (notice he recognsed the divinity of Jesus - Kurios/Lord) would come and have a personal moment with him. I guess we all beg for this personal and intimate moment with God. Nevermind Zaccheaus, any person who recognised the nature of the Christ would have rejoiced at such a moment.
