Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished? I think Jesus accomplished these five Statements of Purpose. During his life, he was preaching about God's love, that is to say, bringing Good News, talking about a source of abundant life and helping people understand the Kingdom of God. He sacrificed himself for others and died on the cross for our sins. And after his resurrection a lot of people believed in God's words so the number of christians increased.

Why does Jesus call "Love one another" a "New" commandment? Because this new commandment is an abstract of the ten commandments we learned when we were children. We know that Jesus is love so he gives love to everybody and he wants us to love one another, but sometimes it is so difficult. Only when we remember that Jesus died for us and read his word we have the power to do that.
