336 entries for this category: Compassion is a strong feeling of sympathy for people who is suffering and a desire to help them. Jesus felt compassion for each person who was suffering because of different diseases or problems. And today he is still feeling the same for us, his followers, espcially when we are sick. I am astonished to know the real situation at the time that Jesus was alive, especially related to women, the condition of people like today rich and poor. And I can't understand if Jesus had brothers and sisters why they weren't with Mary when he died. That's very strange. Compassion

Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? He is the lamb of sacrifice, How do you sacrifice a lamb?
Jesus paid for us a great price in order to save us.
He was crushed for our sins in every dimension of his life. When He commands to love God He says that we must love God with all our mind, heart, soul. So He loved us to the end with all his life, with all his body as the lamb of sacrifice
