Why did Jesus ask his followers to pray for laborers instead of praying for a greater harvest? Jesus asked his followers to pray for laborers isntead of praying for a greater harvest because laborers, that is to say people who preach God's word, are necessary to teach people about God and his teachings, the Commandments and how christians should live sharing their things and food.
