Why is it signficant that Jesus fulfilled what was predicted hundreds of years before? Note: Mark refers to the old Scriptures from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 53) "He poured out his soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And he bore the sins of many." Isaiah 53 contains many more matches to events in Jesus` life.

Because this way Jesus showed obedience to God, his father, and taught all men and women the right path that leads to God.

What was Jesus feeling and thinking while he was mocked and humiliated in front of others? Recall Jesus` own teachings (Matt 5:11), "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven."

I think Jesus was sure that He was doing the will of God, his father, he forgives the soldiers and He knows that He will be with his father at the Kingdom of God preparing a place for us.

The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?

People put popularity above doing what is right because they do what is convenient for them no matter the consequences or if is not good for others.
