336 entries for this category: No, I do not. I think that we can get get anything we want if we work for it and of course when we have faith in God's power and obey the commandments. When Jesus is with us, we are confident and sure and complete if we have his Holy Spirit. The common people are praising Jesus, expecting him to become Israel`s next king. Jesus knew they would turn against him a few days later when he disappointed their expectation. Do you have expections of Jesus which he did not promise?

What did the blind man acknowledge about Jesus by calling him the "Son of David."? Note: David was a great king of Israel. The "Messiah" was predicted to be a direct descendent of David, as Jesus was. The blind man, Bartimateus, acnkowledged that Jesus was The Messiah and that it was such a great opportunity for him to ask for help so he asked loudly while people were trying to stop him. After Bartimateus could see he followed Jesus because he knew that Jesus was the Son of God.

Jesus defines a great person as one who serves others. What did Jesus mean when he said he "did not come to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many."? Jesus meant that a person who wants to be great has to serve others and not be served by others. Jesus obeyed his father and died on the cross for our sins so we could be saved.
