What was Jesus trying to teach the disciples? Note: Jesus left twelve baskets full when he fed the 5000 people on the Israel side (Israel had 12 main regions or tribes).

Jesus was trying to teach the disciples that they have to beware of the yeast of the Pharisees because their yeast was their teachings and Jesus was afraid that his apostles who were simple people could be astonished with the knowledge of the Pharisees and could not realize that their religion had a bad foundation.

Healing and multiplying food did not convice the religious leaders. What sign would have convinced you of Jesus as God?

I feel inside my heart that Jesus is God, besides each time I have a problem or a difficult situation I do nor know how but God's hand shows through the help of a friend or good news that I do not expect.

Why do you think Jesus looked up to heaven and then sighed before the healing?

Jesus looked up to heaven because God, his father, is there and He wanted to share this miracle with Him and Jesus sighed because this man was a symbol of people who have eyes and ears but can not see nor hear.
