God knows what we need, but he likes that we ask for it. Of course, it is good to pray en the temple but God wants to hear our prayers in secret all the time. Why does God appreciate prayers in secret more than public prayers?

Why is giving in secret more to be commended that giving where people can see it? Because when a person does merciful deeds only God has to know, it should be a secret; if someones wants that people watch him it is not a loving act just a hypocrisy.
