768 entries for this category: Jesus prayer was about bringing the Word of God to the people, first reaching them where thy are. When you live in the Word, and believe in Jesus the Christ you will in return go the heaven. Jesus taught the disciples to pray saying, 'May your Kingdom be done on earth as it is done in Heaven', therefore we have to be prepared on earth to reach Heaven. Jesus did not come to destroy or cause violence, He came to save the world from such. He rebuked His disciples everytime they spoke of doing something violent, He said if you live by the sword, you will die by the sword. Jesus answers that to be saved, it is not enough for the person to know the Lord, rather the Lord needs to know the person. What does this mean? Jesus needs to know that you obey Him in every way. He needs you to come to Him with a clean and pure heart, to deny yourself and all the things of the world and follow Him.
