When we obey His Word, love our neighbour as He has loved us and tell others about how wonderful He is, we also encourage them to do His will. It makes us like relative of Jesus because Jesus said whoever does the will of His Father is His brother, His mother and His sister. After Jesus delivered the man, the people were afraid the demons were still in the land and could possess any one in the village. How does doing the will of the Father make people like relatives of Jesus?

Jesus, rebuked the disciples for being fearful. How should they have responsed to the storm? As human beings our first response to diaster is fear, Jesus taught the disciples principles on trust, but I believe they were being tested.
