Jesus is the Resurrection, therefore if you believe in Him though you die yet shall you live because you died in Christ and He will raise you up to meet His Father who is in Heaven. When you die your body maybe in the grave but your spirit lives on forever.

Jesus wept because He felt compassion on Lazarus sisters, Mary and Martha, He knew how much they loved they brother. In our terms we would say both of them made Jesus felt guilty of his death because they both said, "Lord, if you were here, my brother would not have died". Jesus gave them hope and they believed Him even before He raised Lazarus from the tomb. They believed because they had faith.
