If neither Herod nor Pilate found anything worthy of death to convict Jesus of then why was he sentenced to death? As it is written, and foretold by the prophets, "....he would be like a lamb lead to be slaughter. The enemy spoke to the hearts of the Priests and scribes that he was a threat to them, they probably did not prepare for such a conviction, because of they own greed over popularity initiated the crowd to convict Christ, all in all this prophecy had to be fulfilled in order to save us from SIN!!!

Why do you think Jesus did not speak to Herod nor answer Pilate? Jesus did not speak because He had already prepared Himself to be crucified.
