768 entries for this category: Because they didthe understand when Jesus said I and my Father are one. He is the great I AM. Jesus was talked about long before He came into existance. He saw the world for the first time because he was born blind and that would allow him to trust God, to obey Him as he did when Jesus send him to wash in the pool and to worship and praise God. God's work was displayed in the blind man through his desire to see and his willingness to obey. He did as Jesus told him and was able to testify to the fact that it was Jesus who caused him to see. What joy that must have been since he never saw his mother's face or anyone around him. God is an awesome God. Why are Jesus` followers called "children of light"? Jesus followers are called children of light because Jesus is the light of the world and all who follow, trust and obey Him will be called to follow Him. He said if He be lifted up from the cross, He will draw all men unto Him.
