I learn that Jesus is a very compassionate, forgiving and trustworthy son of the Living God. I also learn that He takes the worst kind of people or the unbelievers to do His work because as He says that healthy people do not need a doctor, the sick does.

The sick in this case are those you do not know God, probably never heard the Word of God spoken but are willing to know Him. Jesus loves us as He loved His followers because He came to call sinners to repentence.

Jesus was sent on earth by His Father to heal. Touching the man with leprosy would probably show us that Jesus was not ashamed or afraid to touch his wounds, it is a way to connect with a person. Jesus knew that like the woman with the issue of blood when He touched the man healing would go directly to him.

The man had faith and along with the touch of the Master's hand, his faith healed him.
