768 entries for this category: I think that Jesus was sent to preach the gospel to the people because they needed to hear the Word and believe. If He went around healing and doing great miracles all the time, we would be like Thomas, seeing to believe. Jesus had to leave to go to other cities to fulfil what God had sent Him to do. He is a mighty healer but He is also a great teacher. The role of the Holy Spirit is to interceed for those who pray and call on God: to guide us into the content of our prayers to God, to quicken the spirit when it strays: to encourage and sheild from the work of the enemy: the Holy Spirit also commands us to live the fruit of the sprit and to walk uprightly, He also guides us continuely as we walk with Christ. Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people?
