You would be able to love as Jesus loved us, open our hearts to receive from Him and to receive Him as our own. With all these attributes you confess your sins, you ask for forgiveness and be born again in the Spirit, then that love just keeps flowing. Without repentance we perish. Give examples of "Fruit worthy of repentance?" (John´s examples or your own)

Who did Jesus think of as his real Father? Jesus knew that God was His real father. When His earthly parents, Mary and Joseph, could not find Him after they left the feast of the passover in Jerusalem, they came back to look for Him. After three days they found Jesus sitting in the Temple with the teachers both listening and asking questions. When they ask Him why He didn't come knowing they were worried, Jesus replied 'why were you looking for me, you should know I must be in my Father's house.'
