What does it mean to be loved by God?

To be loved by God is Awesome, it is to keep His commandments. It shows His MERCY, GRACE, PATIENCE, LOYALTY and how much He cares for us.

God showed His love for us when He gave up His only son Jesus Christ who died for us - and was raised to life for us.

Romans Chp. 9:38 says; I am convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God, death can't and life can't, the angels can't and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. (life application bible) That tells you how powerful, how supreme and how sovereign God is. He is not a God that He should lie, so we can believe Him and obey Him and love Him for He first loved us. His love cast out all fears.

To be loved by God is knowing that we can depend on Him because He is in control of our lives and keeps us from falling.

Samuel is a great example of showing God's love, he was obedient and constantly tell the people of Israel and Saul, whom he anointed as king, to fear and worship the Lord and listen to His voice and do not rebel against the Lord's command. God love Samuel because he was a faithful prophet who told the people not to turn they backs on the Lord.

I am not perfect, no one is but I love God with all my heart, at times there is doubt in my mind to lots of things but I go to Him in pray, I do feel His love.

"If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode (home) with him." (John 14:23)

Jesus claimed that after a future period of destruction and distress, he (The Son of Man) will come back to earth with great power and glory. What did Jesus say he would do at that time?
Jesus said He would gather all that believe on Him, from the four corners of the earth and those who had pass on.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

Yes, for all are equal in the eyes of Jesus.

A person who is lowly is sometimes looked upon as useless, therefore he/she is prone to do desperate things; such as steal, drink and, or even beg to get a meal if there is no job available.

That is why Jesus said "come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest". (Matt 11:28) That rest is love, peace and healing.

Matthew 20 vrs 29-34 tells you as Jesus left Jericho He passed by two blind beggars on the road, they heard the crowd and knew Jesus was passing and they shouted- Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us, Jesus felt sorry for them, He had compassion on them, touched they eyes and instantly they could see, then they followed Him. These men could become valuable followers of Jesus by spreading the Word of healing and the miracle Jesus did for them. That is the love Jesus has for us, that is how much He values His children.

Even at your weakess time, don't give up because Jesus has plans for each and every one of us. We are valuable to Jesus because He paid the price for our sins with His life, He loves us uncondionally.
