Because he wanted to feel what mandkind was feeling and for mankind to understand that nothing in this life is a short cut are easy, and for us to know that he could just prove who he really is and they would have to set him free, but instead he take the long road for us to see and know they r no easy way out for us he didnt have to do it but he did it anyway to give us an example to live by.

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?" I dont see any purpose listed, so what do u mean? But if your asking if Jesus accomplished any purpose and how many i'd say...all of them. I believe he accomplished all that he set out to do.
