The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?

It is a form of fear of losing that popularity, even though Pilate had the power to set Jesus free, he did not, because of the crowd. I believe it is the mind of the person, seeing wrong as wrong and right as right, no matter the circumstance. However, the prophecy had to be fulfil, and Pilote had to please the crowd. The answer is "fear" of losing that high, it is one of the enemy's ploys to sink you deeper into sin.

The religious leaders assembled a court to judge Jesus. Jesus answered only one charge made against him, and also gave evidence to prove the charge. What was the charge and for what was Jesus determined guilty?
The charge was because he told them that he was Christ, the Son of the Blessed and he also told them that they will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky."
