God would have not sent his Son into this world if he did not love his people. Jesus could have been born unto rich parents, but God sent him to Mary and Joseph. He believes that by doing so, all would have a chance to the gift of eternal life and his Kingdom. God do not make mistakes. He is a man of order. We must give up all our earthly richness to the point of spiritual poverty to enter into his Kingdom. In Matthew 19, Jesus said unto the rich man if he wants to be prefect he must first give up all he has to the poor, and his treasure shall be in heaven: and follow him. He wants our focus and our commitment to him; he will supply our needs if we follow him. Matthew 19:26 “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Jesus promises that if we humble ourselves and keep his commandments when he comes we will sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Then we read in Matthew 11:29 he reminds us again that if we take his yoke upon us, and learn of him; for He is meek and lowly in heart: and we shall find rest unto our souls. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Mat 5:3) By: Stephen Brice Category: Befriending and Promoting the Lowly |

 | "According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?" |
When Jesus came to this earth over 2000 years ago he was born into a poor or middle class family, he did not sin, yet he give up his life for us. He commanded no armies, yet he is the King of Kings and Lord or Lords. He died on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven. He that knows no sin became sin for us, so that we may be forgiven and become children of God. John 15:13 “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends. We are friends of Jesus and children of God his Father.” How great is the love of God! God could just have judged the whole world, and we would all have been lost. Instead, He sent His own Son so that we could be saved. Let us share the love of Jesus with the whole world! By: Stephen Brice Category: God Loves & Values You |
