How is Jesus` way fresh or new compared to old religious practice or tradition?

Jesus' way teaches us to be more disciplined in the Word of God and to be wise in our actions. His teaching also focuses on the many ways the enemy may try to deceive us, and being in tune with the Scriptures which Jesus taught or ministered, opens up our spiritual being to understand that His teachings is to bring us closer to the Kingdom. Other religous practices in that time, were hypocritical, meaning, they did not practice what was preached, and this is one of the most important teachings Christ gave." Love one another, as you love yourself." Don't scorn, cast out, or reject, accept those who came to seek Jesus, for they too want to be received in Glory. Sometimes we are so arrogant, that we miss what God really wants us to do. Simply "Love one another and obey His Word"
