Jesus said, I in my father and my father is in me. The role of teh Holy Spirit was to overcome the temptation of teh devil and to reveal teh authority of God that no man can tempt God. This was the occasion for Jesus to recieve the full possession of God's authorith and power to fullfill his mission in which he came.

What is the role of the Holy Spirit during Jesus` challenge with the devil? The Role of the Holy Spirit was to protect and shield Jesus from the devil's temptations. The Holy Spirit also guides and shows us the right decisions to make as what had been done to Jesus so He could defeat the devil.

How does Luke claim to distinguish his biography of Jesus from other recorded biographies from eyewitnesses (e.g. Matthew and John)? Luke wants us to know that it is also carefully research and written. His wanted to give us assurance that we can know the story of Jesus life accurately. Luke was the first one that began his gospel.
