There isn't anything to precious for the Lord, as a matter of fact the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein. Realizing the valuable purpose in which the woman's action protrayed, worthmore then given to the poor. The word taught us "Blessed are the poor for there's the Kingdom of God, for they shall inherit the earth and they shall be called the children of God. What the poor recieves from Jesus worth more than silver and gold.

What did Jesus imply by saying, "This is my blood of the new coveneant, which is poured out for many."? Consider that the Passover was a Jewish festival that remembered when a plague of death "passed over" the home of those Jewish people who marked their doors with blood from a lamb. Jews remembered this day with a feast of unleavened bread. Jesus demonstrated the transition of his purpose on earth to die for the sins of this world. He explained to them the process it will take where the physical must be transformed from mortality to imortality or death to eternal life, and His blood shead for the forgiveness of sin and healing of menkind. Praise God for the passover for Jesus to demonstrate His unconditional love.

Peter was convinced that he would be loyal to Jesus even if it meant dying. Who would you sincerely be willing to die for? We are only human and we will be tempted like Peter, but we must never give up trusting in Jesus. Yes, I will die for Jesus. He told me in his word that I must carry the cross and be willing to die for him. "He who loses his life for me will find it". When I became a Christian, I had to kill the old self in order to live a new life in Jesus. Living is good, but dying in Jesus is gain, which is the only way to eternal life.
