1547 entries for this category: Commandments should be used in our daily lives as an active part of communicating with God.(Staying in Tune) These are so structured for us as believers to understand and manifest in our lives as a driving force or strength for our spiritual relationship and growth in Jesus Christ. What actions of the scribes did Jesus warn against? Do we have people who act like this now? Some people are suffering from inferior and or superiority complex. Some Christian believe that they deserves greater respect than others because they hold higher positions in the church. Some love front seats to be seen, others feel like they are pure and sinless, but in their actions they fall short. Jesus wants us to respect the two great commendments, that is "to love the Lord thy God with all our hearts, souls and mind, and to love our neighbours as ourselves".

What was Jesus trying to teach about giving (amount, motive, attitute)? Unlike the Rich, the poor widow gave from her heart because she gave all that she had. The lesson we have to learn that we should be committed to paying our tithes and offering from our hearts in order to recieve God's blessings.

Why does Jesus place commandments to actively love above commandments to refrain from evil (thou shall notâ€Â¦)? Note: Jesus answered with two quotations from the Jewish law about loving God (Deuteronomy 6:4), and about loving neighbors (Leviticus 19:18).
