Jesus exaggerates to makes the point that one should eliminate things that cause one to sin (disobey God). What things might you eliminate to be more spiritually healthy?

It is unwise for a man to gain teh hold world and looses his soul. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have to remove ourselves from the world and the world way of thinking and doing things. We must be born again. This means that we must rid ourselves from worshiping idols and material things, we must not lust after the flesh, put away sexual immorality and things pertaining to the body. Purify the mind and let Jesus live within our hearts so that all the members of our body will be under the influence of the holy spirit. We have to ask God through Jesus to send the advocate to live in us and he will show us everthing and how to be spiritually healthy.

Jesus felt love for this rich man, and guided him to focus on treasures in heaven instead of treasures on earth. What is heavenly treasure?
Worship the Lord God with all our hearts and put no trust in things that will fade away. Heavenly treasure is "eternal life". Once we have Jesus we have everything because God created this universe. He said the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. Earthly possession can't buy us salvation and it will fade away. Jesus toldus to store up our treasure in heaven where no motes can destroy. I can't wait to walk the streets of God.

Jesus defines a great person as one who serves others. What did Jesus mean when he said he "did not come to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many."?
Jesus was sent by God not to condemm but to save and give eternal life. He spoke not of Himself but what God sent him to do. Jesus told the multitude that he didn't come to the rich but the poor, he didn;t come for the well but the sick. In Jesus' ministryhe demonstrated that because God so love the wirld that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him will have eternal life. For Jesus to die on the cross demonstrates His true mission is to serve.
