1547 entries for this category: Anyone who obey's Jesus commend will recieve a miracle such as his disciples and the multitude did. He wants to demonstrate to them and us that He is our provider at all times. In His words he said anyone who eat the bread of heaven will have eternal life. From my recollection, Jesus' deciples never ask him to do anything, they were thinking of the natural rather then the spiritual. We have to trust Jesus for everything and all things will be added unto us. In the middle of extreme busyness, Jesus departed to a mountain to pray. What do you learn from Jesus` example? When we keep in constant prayer with God we recieve His power and authority to do anything. Jesus demonstrates to us that we need to pray continuously so that the father can abide with us. When Jesus pray to our father, he is about to do something or somethingis about to happen. That's what we need to do at all times.

Why did Jesus challenge the disciples to "give them (5000 people) something to eat" before multiplying the food? Jesus wanted to see how strong the faith of his disciples were. I believe God wants us to fully understand the authority He has appointed to us as we communine and obey His Word, so sometimes He places us in suituations where we might think we might not be able to handle it. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THRU CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
