"Is the lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn't it put on a stand? For there is nothing hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light. If any man has ears to hear, let him hear."
He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and more will be given to you who hear. For whoever has, to him will more be given, and he who doesn't have, even that which he has will be taken away from him."

Mark 4:21-25

Jesus is the Son of God. Therefore whatever happends to him God knows. The lamp was not made to sit under the bed but to be the light to brighten on a stand. Jesus' purpose was the light of this world, sent to be acknowledged, worshipped and lifted up to the highest.

Just as God made Jesus and us, therefore was also sin and redemption like wise. God is saying whatever we do wrong and try to lie to cover up will eventually come to light and be known by many. What he wants is for us, to make known our faults to him, see where we went wrong, and ask for forgiveness, between you and him, before you lie and be embarrased in the presence of the entire universe. Listening to God might be the best thing you ever did.

He wants the best for us. Acknowledge him, lift him up to the highest stand, ask for forgiveness and repent. Live the Lords way, like his children.
