Why do you think Peter denied knowing Jesus?
I think it was because Peter was afraid of also being arrested, attacked and tortured as Jesus was. I feel ashamed of myself. I can totally understand how Peter feared seeing the brutal arrest of Jesus and how urgently he wanted to deny his acquaintance with Jesus. I can understand his feelings because I would have acted the same as Peter if I had been there. Sometimes I feel I'm strong in mind or in spirit but it was not true. Facing terrors can make me forget everything but conserving myself or even fleeing away. Jesus Christ knows deeply about us, about our weaknesses. I must be honest to the Lord because I can hide nothing from him.

How does Jesus` answer to the robber make you feel? "Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."
I feel surprised, touched and affectionate. A robber who was condemned with crucifixion must have been a vital criminal. But he could also be saved just because he confessed his crimes and sins and asked Jesus by faith for forgiveness and acceptance. This event tells me that just through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can we be saved no matter how sinful we are. And we are saved only through faith by God's grace instead of any of our good deeds because we are in no way "good" or "kind" and we are just miserable sinners.

Bonus question: Why was the veil torn in two? "The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two"
In antient times, people tore their clothes to show their anger or grieves. For example, the high priest violently parted his robes to accuse Jesus. Jesus' death was unrighteous so God was angry and grieved about that. I guess so.
